The Gold Bug Dual Sport Ride treks through the historic Gold Country of California in and around Placerville CA.

Riding the Gold Bug you cover many different surfaces and conditions. The event runs through busy town streets and quiet wooded trails. Because of the diverse terrain that you cover, leave the hard-core motocrosser and superbikes in the garage, along with the Wings and Cruisers. But don’t be afraid to strap a roll chart on your R1150 GS and join us! While we continue to work diligently to keep trails open for pure off-road riding, the increased limits on public land use could make dual-sport rides the only way to ride legally. We hope this won’t be the case, but if you’ve got a street-legal bike come on out and check out what dual sports are all about!
